Stitched with DMC and Crescent Colours on 28ct. “Lambswool” Jobelan

I thought I was never going to get this one finished! I started it a number of weeks ago, but I ran out of the “Country Lane” Crescent Colours (used for the text). I had another skein, but the color was completely different, and it was blatantly obvious. I could have ordered another skein online, but there was no guarantee that the color was going to match, so I had to wait until I was able to get to House of Stitches (my not so local LNS) to look at the colors in person.

On Saturday, I borrowed my FIL’s car, and took a drive to LaPorte to House of Stitches. The store had 4 skeins in stock – 2 of them were the right color, so I grabbed both of them (I knew I didn’t need both of them, but if I lost it somewhere, I’d be kicking myself!). While I was there, I also picked up a piece of the palest pink linen for a Shepherd’s Bush piece that I’m going to start in the New Year.

I’ll be back later with a Christmas break recap!

It’s gorgeous Susan, I shall make a note with my copy that I should get a couple of skeins of the Country Lane when I kit it up.
