Motif from “Country Lullaby” © Jean Farish. I have no idea what the fabric is – I grabbed it from my stash – I was looking for something in a neutral colored linen. I stitched it with DMC threads. Finished as a scissor fob.
As soon as I drew Anne’s name out of the hat for my recent blog draw, I knew what I was going to stitch for her. I know that Anne’s favorite color is blue, and that she’s a big fan of ducks, so I thought this was an appropriate piece for her.
I’ve had the chart in my stash for almost as long as I’ve been stitching. I bought the chart when DD was born – I made her a quilt for her crib, and then used the motifs to stitch her bibs. Since then, I’ve found the motifs are great for quick little finishes, whether for new babies, or just fans of ducks!

That’s so cute Susan! Your stitching and finishing is beautiful as always!
Oh, this is what you started at the GTG! Very cute. Congratulations on your finish.

Hello – I popped over from Anne’ blog to see the fob – it’s lovely.

Very cute and perfectly finished, as always. I’ve been waiting for the finished pic after seeing you work on it at the GTG.
That is so Anne, clever you!! Lucky Anne!
