SBEBB Biscornu Exchange

Motif taken from © Prairie Schooler ~ “Acorns” (OOP chart)
Cathy let me know that she received the Biscornu that I sent her for the SBEBB biscornu exchange. I forgot to take pictures of the other goodies that I sent in my package, but Cathy did take a picture, which she has posted in her blog.
I’ll be back later in the day (or tonight) with a recap of my Stitching Olympics successes and/or failures, and I’ll update the Movie Meme. There are still a few unidentified movies, so if you haven’t played as yet, there’s still time!

Susan, what a darling biscornu finish!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just love Autumn. It is my favorite time of year, and what better way to “capture the spirit of the fall season” than with a beautiful biscornu?? You did a fantastic stitching job, and Cathy must be so pleased! =)
Thanks for sharing with us!
~Julie~
I just found your blog and I had to tell you how much I love your bicornu. The edges are gorgeous – they are just as lovely as the design. I am poring over the pictures you posted trying to see how you made them. I am a fairly new stitcher and have yet to attempt a bicornu but maybe I will after seeing this. Thank you for the inspiration!
The biscornu is so beautifully stitched, and especially finished. I absolutely love the edges you’ve done on them! Cathy really must be thrilled.
Where may I find the pattern?? I love this one!!
Very pretty!!
GORGEOUS Susan…stunning!
Love the autumn themed biscornu. Would you share with us how you did the edges? They are very pretty and unique. Thanks.
Susan, your Biscornu is looking so beautiful!
I love the autumn colour so much!
And your stitching is very beautiful as well!!
Another piece beautifuly done, congratulations. Love it.
Your biscornu is an absolute stunner!
Love the movie meme quotes as well … have to admit, I smiled when you said the Jaws line about needing a bigger boat – I always remember that line … and even though I saw Jaws at a very tender age, and have been terrified of sharks and being in the ocean, it still remains one of my all-time favourite movies too!
Saw this on Cathy’s blog this morning! It’s just gorgeous, Susan! Congratulations!
Your biscornu is beautiful Susan! You did a great job on the stitching and finishing!
That’s a gorgeous biscornu!
That’s a beautiful biscornu!!

However that aside, I would have commented on this beauty anyway as it is so stunning and very beautifully finished. I thought wow look at that posh biscornu, I wonder who stitched that
Enjoy your weekend and hope your Tilda books come soon they are good fun !!
bonjour,
Your biscornu is really lovely. Would it be possible for you to explain to me how you do the finishing ? especially the borders before sewing the 2 parts together.
Thank you
